Amy Barcus, MA/LPC

Amy Barcus is highly skilled Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families.  She received her BA in Psychology and MA in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University. 

Amy has 16 years of experience with counseling in an outpatient setting where she developed skills treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit disorders, adjustment disorders, grief, and trauma.  Amy believes that it is important to implement a variety of therapeutic approaches to work collaboratively with patients based on their individual needs. She utilizes cognitive behavior therapy and trauma focused CBT as some of treatment modalities. Amy fosters a compassionate working relationship with her patients to encourage healing, growth, and empowerment. 

Outside of her professional interest, Amy enjoys running and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
