Pollie Lang

Pollie Lang is a PA licensed clinical social work psychotherapist. She earned her master’s degree from the Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research and an undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University.  She is a kind, compassionate, and realistic therapist.  Her ultimate goal is to collaboratively tailor treatment to help her clients heal from their pain and suffering while gaining beneficial life skills. She wants to see her client’s live fuller and more joyful lives.

Pollie works primarily with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She considers herself a generalist and has provided therapy to those who struggle with grief/loss, anger, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety and stress, ADHD, hoarding, adjustment-related issues, perinatal and post-partum concerns, LBGTQ/gender-related issues, and personality disorders.

Her therapeutic approach is a holistic, person-centered, and mindfulness-acceptance based. She integrates many therapeutic modalities including solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy (ET), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), creative arts, and others as needed.

Pollie has worked for years at Crozer Community Hospital and continues to hold a biweekly grief support group that she founded in Delaware County. In her downtime she gardens, hikes, the lapidary arts, watercolor painting, music, and walking the family dog.
