Manisha Kamat, MD

Manisha S. Kamat, M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress disorders and mood disorders by offering adult individual psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services.  She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree with Honors from the University of Bombay in India. She completed Psychiatry Residencies at the Topiwala National Medical College in Bombay, India and at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.

She completed a Psychoanalytic Fellowship Program at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. Distinctions and honors include: Award for Clinical Excellence from Drexel University College of Medicine, The Gary Kirschbaum M.D. Award for Excellence in Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry; the Major General Jenning’s Gold Medal Prize from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Bombay, India.  Dr. Kamat has served as a staff psychiatrist at Crozer-Chester Medical Center where she provided inpatient and outpatient psychiatry services. Along with maintaining outpatient psychiatry practice Dr. Kamat has consulting privileges at Riddle Memorial Hospital affiliated to Main Line Health.
