Shaynae Young, L.C.S.W.

Shaynae Young is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who completed her bachelor’s degree in 2009 from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and later obtained her graduate degree in Social Work from Edinboro University. Shaynae has vast experience assisting children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing issues related to depression, trauma, anxiety, stress, and anger. Her special interests include helping her clients manage symptoms of trauma so they can have fulfilling lives, and assisting people as they move through unexpected transitions.

Applying her deep knowledge of solutions-based, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral modification techniques, Shaynae has a unique ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds with wide-ranging needs to help them gain stability, achieve self-sufficiency, and remove barriers to wellness and success. Shaynae strongly believes in fostering the strength, resiliency, and potential of each client. Shaynae uses strength’s perspective to help individuals deal with life’s challenges.  Her approach is empathetic and individual driven intertwined with self-care and mindfulness. Shaynae offers individual therapy as well as family therapy.

In Shaynae’s free time she enjoys spending time with close friends and family, traveling, and relaxing.
