Barbara Anne is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. Barbara Anne has been a registered nurse for the last 18 years, having obtained her undergraduate degree from Immaculata University and graduated from Walden University with her Master’s Degree, specializing in Psychiatry upon completion of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner Program. Barbara Anne specializes in treating individuals across the life span, from young adults to older adults, who suffer from depression, anxiety, mood and sleep disorders, as well as ADHD.

Having worked in various specialties throughout her nursing career, Barbara Anne’s greatest passion by far is assisting others who have mental health struggles.  Realizing that each client is unique, Barbara Anne treats each person she encounters as an individual, with utmost concern and empathy, carefully considering the best approach to help each person she treats, as helping others feel his or her best is Barbara Anne’s overall goal. Utilizing a patient-centered approach while considering the needs of both patient and family is of paramount importance for Barbara Anne when determining the best plan of treatment. Barbara Anne utilizes evidenced based practice, psychopharmacology as well as psychotherapy to assist clients to promote emotional wellness and optimal functioning.
